   I think the most challenging aspect of wanting to do something with your computer is the decision to publish your own website. I have wanted to do this for longer than I can remember, but it took some really serious thought to actually decide to do it. When I had to rebuild an entire computer, I did not do as much research as I had to do to find the right company to host a website for me!     Just about anywhere you go, the cost of running a domain is going to cost about $60.00 a year. I have seen them at work, I am a student at ITT Technical Institute and I see a whole lot of IT things being done by every kind of specialist you can imagine! I like the way thenerds.net guys can immediately jump right in and get your problems solved when you have been ready to tear your hair out because you have done everything right and your stuff just still will not work? I have had problems like that in the past too, when I have hooked all the wires together and the stuff just didn't work; so I step back and unhook it, hook it back up, and there it goes, it works? Why? I don't know, but I was ready to kill someone by the time it was done! These guys can take that off of you and solve your issues and let you get on with your life! What a relief when your computers and network finally work, huh?

      One of the most interesting things about having your own website and domain is that you can also have a packege that includes email. The yourname@yourdomain.com email accounts are pretty cool. Marina and I have both have email accounts through her domain, but Go-Daddy doesn't make getting to those email inboxes very easy, and their customer service is pretty poor too. So having those email accounts there is pretty worthless. Marina uses hers, but I don't. Network Solutions is a great company if you have a business idea and want someone to host your account and you need email accounts for your employees? Network Solutions will provide secure email accounts for you and you can access them from mobile devices like smartphones? I will definitely have them monitor my emails and host my domains when I get super-rich and famous?

Alot of computer software is not compatible with Linux, and most of the hosting sites only cater to Windows! I use Windows Vista and I love it, but most Windows users are still using XP!
